Conwed Purchases the BOPP Mesh Business Unit of Tapex Ltd., Australia MINNEAPOLIS, MN, July 10, 2007— Conwed Global Netting Solutions, a market leader in the manufacture of lightweight plastic netting, announces the acquisition of the Square Net Business Unit of Tapex Ltd. located in Sydney, Australia. The purchase includes Tapex’s biaxial oriented polypropylene netting products.
With this acquisition, Conwed strengthens its position as a leading supplier of lightweight extruded and oriented plastic netting in the Australian and New Zealand region.
